Speed Loader Over Belt - First Edition
This run is our first edition run and is limited available in Black or London Tan Holstex. This material has a leather like pattern ('Raptor Grain') for you wheelgun guys that still wear leather holsters (hey we do too!).
This run also uses aluminum orange finish washers as a nod to Pistol-Forum.com where Flamingo and Rob first met in virtual space before becoming meat space friends.

The Problem:
Speed loaders are bulky to carry and currently produced speed loader pouches make them even more bulky overall, causing concealment issues. The best concealing pouches we have used are the 'Split Six' variety of pouches, which straddle bullets over the belt. But these pouches do not work well with spring loaders speed loaders such as Jet Loaders, SL Variant, or Speedbeez. Additionally, the retention of many of these carriers is subpar, either erring on the side of too much with a strap/snap combination or too little with a small amount of friction applied to the body of the loader.
We sought to solve these concealment, retention, and access issues simultaneously.
The Solution:
The Speed Loader Over Belt™ or SLOB™ is made of .080" Kydex or Holstex. And is designed to be a modular speed loader carrier that can be user configured to maximize (or minimize) concealment, loader access, and retention.
The modular design of the SLOB allows the user to adjust both the size and retention to different common speed loaders for medium (L-Frame, K-Frame, etc.) and small frame revolvers (J-Frame, LCR, etc.) - One pouch, multiple loaders!
The SLOB mounts to the user's belt via a Discreet Carry Concepts (DCC) "Mod 4 Shorty" (1.5" wide) clip* and is attached to the SLOB body with Made in USA fasteners* featuring a mil-spec black oxide finish. By design we have set up the clip so that the body of the SLOB is positioned inboard over the belt (Logo side of the clip facing out). This maximizes concealment. However, if you need less concealment and more speed (for instance a competition scenario), simply take off the SLOB and turn it around (Logo side of the clip facing in). This moves the body of the SLOB outboard for faster access to the speed loader.
In addition to our standard DCC Clip, we offer a kydex Sphinx Tail™ as an option. The Sphinx Tail is designed to aid in mounting a SLOB to the PHLster Enigma. Because Sphinx Tails are a stand alone option produced separately, these are only available in standard black kydex. Additional mounting hardware (4x Chicago Screws, 4x Mounting Posts, 4x Rubber Washers) are included with a Sphinx Tail.

*We believe that DCC makes the best clips on the market and the cost of DCC clips is higher than plastic or other clip options out there. However, we are unwilling to compromise performance of our product to save you (or ourselves) money. Similarly, it costs us nearly double the amount per fastener to use Made in USA fasteners on our products, we don't care, we prefer to give you the best products even if it reduces our profits.
